Successful Indoor Marijuana Growing

The first three rules of being a successful indoor marijuana grower are: tell no one, tell no one, tell no one.

The vast majority of people who get caught are people who begin to grow their own marijuana and begin to tell other people about it. They become pleased and excited at what they have learned, or they see those first shoots sticking up out of the soil - and they just have to show it & tell it - to family, friends, other growers, etc.

There are many places to grow marijuana indoors. Extra rooms or unused bedrooms are great, as they can be turned into working growrooms, and the plants can be cultivated with the maximum amount of light and care. Small commercial growers often use these extra rooms with great success.

Guest bathrooms are another good place to grow marijuana. They are small and can be easily maintained, and will hold a sufficient number of plants to satisfy the personal, or hobby, grower. And bathrooms almost always have a ventilation fan, a necessary component of indoor growing.

Garages, sheds and other outbuildings also make good growrooms. These are more difficult to set up initially, but for the person who is handy with tools and electricity, once the initial work is done these are the perfect place to grow a substantial marijuana crop. A good lock on the door provides complete security for these areas.

Complete stealth can also be obtained by growing in a closet or wardrobe. And many successful marijuana grows have been done by using an old chest - of - drawers, of which the inside parts have been removed. These look like a normal chest on the outside, but the inside is a hollow grow area.

Most indoor growers prefer some kind of closet to grow in. These may range in size from the 18" X 24" broom closet, to a large 6' X 8' walk - in closet, or an even larger unused dressing room. Closet marijuana growing may be successfully concealed from unwanted eyes simply by closing the door.

A closet may be painted white or covered with mylar or another reflective surface. Hanging the lights is an easy step, made easier by the limited space the grower needs to illuminate. And many closets in newer homes have a built- in ventilation fan. If no built - in fan is there, it is an easy task to acquire a small computer fan or desk fan, both of which are adequate to ventilate a small grow.

Indoor marijuana growers who are extremely pressed for stealth and/or space have been known to grow in stripped - out nightstands or the cabinets underneath the kitchen or bathroom sinks, in old unused dryers, or discarded refridgerators.

Once you have decided to start an indoor marijuana grow, take a thoughtful look around your living environment. Any unused or unneeded space is a potential growsite. And if you have no extra space whatsoever, room can usually be made for an extra closet or wardrobe, somewhere in your floor space. The possibilities are endless - and surprising.
