Strain review by: vic

As my first grow with decent genetics, I was very impressed with this strain. I know that KC Brains' seeds get a lot of flak on these boards - but these seeds all sprouted and popped out the soil (planted directly into soil) within 36hrs, but the last two to sprout got chucked.

Of the remaining 8 plants, they were as close to identical as you can get, all were leaning towards the Indica side and grew to be short, squat little bushes with loads of sidebranches.

When the plants were around 10" tall, I fitted them with Scrog screens and took cuttings - the cuttings were put aside to root and I flowered the mums (& dads) to determine sex and to get some samples so as I could choose a mother.

Most of the way through, there were few, if any problems. Most of the time it was a case of overwatering - and this caught up with me later in flower as I had pH issues and nute lockout, causing excessive yellowing and 'crispy' leaves.

From the 8 plants, I got 5 females (all the males were axed immediately) which I continued to flower until harvesting at 62 days (the plants were slightly immature when put under 12/12, so this would affect the flowering time)

After drying, I had just under 8.5 Oz from the 5 ladies - the most from one plant was 49g (most were over 40g), and the least was 17g (due to it being finished in a 500ml pot - I called it 'lanky')

These buds are totally covered in trichs (nice fat ones that look like sugar) and are sticky as hell. When you open the jar, you get a heady, pungent fruity aroma which reminds me of some Neville's haze I tried a while back. The buds are a little loose on occasion, but most are quite firm - obviously, this would improve with more light.

The high does vary *slightly* from one plant to the next - but as yet, I'm still trying to decide which mother to keep (I like 'em all too much!). Overall, it's a more heady stone with a bit of couchlock - so it'll leave you still capable of demolishing the contents of the fridge (and trust me, you will with this stuff - talk about munchies madness) and quite a few visuals - this is one of the 'trippiest' strains I've tried (I didn't even find the Neville's that trippy). The high also lasts for hours - so don't smoke this stuff if you've got things to do.

I would recommend this strain to anyone - experienced or not as it's easy to grow, is very tolerant and yields well with a good level of potency.

DID YOU USE DIGITAL BALLSTS OR THE TRADITIONAL MAGNETIC COIL BALLASTS.AND WHAT KIND OF BULBS DID YOU USE EXPENSIVE ONES OR LESS EXPENSIVE. I MEAN HOW MANY LUMENS OF LIGHT 50,000 OR 58,000 LUMENS OF LIGHT THAT'S THE IMPORTANT INFO WE NEED TO KNOW. YOUR GROWING MEDIUM IS A VERY GOOD CHOICE SO TAHT HELPS.ALSO YOU DEFINITLY NEED MORE LIGHT I WOULD SUGGEST ADDING ANOTHER 400WATT.WITH A DIGITAL BALLAST THAT WAY YOU CAN RUN BOTH BULBS 400WATT.HPS. AND 400WATT.MH. AND IF YOU NEED YOU COULD ADD A 6FT.LIGHT RAIL LIGHT MOVER SO YOU CAN COVER MORE SPACE. I HOPE THIS HELPS

I started these plants indoors. I then moved them outdoors. I know this is not recommeded, but it has worked for me. Out of 10 seeds, I got eight plants, 3 of them female. I have short, sturdy, bushy plants, and have cloned from all three of them. The high is divine, as promised. This is my first grow using quality seeds, and I had the usual problems with overwatering initially. Once that was corrected, they flourished. I move them around the yard for optimal lighting, and as I live in a southwestern climate, I am blessed with plenty of sunshine. The buds are sticky and white with small red hairs. A great experience. Next year, I plan to try Purple Power.

Dude that was lyrical sense. Sounds great. I am interested in KC for the price but still not sure. Looking more for Indica. I have never grown sativa. Don't know if I will even see the response to this if there is one. I figure you got to be a seasoned grower to do well with any seeds for that matter.
